Postsecondary and higher education institutions should make employment decisions based on procedures that are not arbitrary and capricious. Laws and regulations involving issues such as tenure, promotion, evaluation, and free speech should be consistently followed.
This assignment will help you discern potential complications and delays that may occur as a result of having to understand and meticulously follow the state and federal laws.
In a minimum of 200 words, respond to the following:
Discuss three to four federal laws or your state laws, policies, and regulations that protect employees from arbitrary or discriminatory treatment.
Discuss whether these laws, policies, or regulations complicate and lengthen the process of making employment decisions.
